April 12th, Happy Easter
Yet another busy week. We have been meeting with Brides and Grooms about
their upcomeing summer weddings. We also ran into an issue with our new
music search feature that when you searched on a song with an apostraphe in it,
the search would crash. After changing a little bit of programming it all
works the way we want it to.
April 5th, 2009
A lot has been going on. I spent a week in Omaha at our annual banquet and
learned alot of new information. First, we have a new music supplier which
probably doesn't mean alot to anybody but me. It is going to make
maintaining our music library easier as well as giving us better music.
Right now we get pretty much all of the popular music but we get alot of junk
music that noone request that just fills our library taking up space.
Hopefully the new supplier will ease alot of that. We also will be adding
a Music Video add on to our service, probably sometime in the next couple of
months.
If you are a regular visitor you probably noticed that our website design has
changed as well. We switched the operating system that runs our website
from Linux to Windows. We feel that this will allow us to roll out
information quicker as well as adding new features, such as our searchable music
library database. This would not have been possible without extensive
programing under our old software.
We also have a new exclusive. Our brides and grooms will be able to
purchase a customizable website for their receptions that will allow them to
e-invite and follow up with pictures and video from their wedding day. We
should be rolling out the demo this week.
